On the blog today, Samantha and Jordan. Last weekend these two finally tied the knot! Being a wedding photographer is truly a gift. To be able to capture this special day for people is a very humbling experience.
They chose a gorgeous property with the perfect red barn that housed string lights and a chandelier in Paso Robles, California. I was so glad they asked me to travel from Tulare for this event. The tables were covered with sunflowers and the perfect amount of rustic charm. Both the bride and groom wore boots which suited them perfectly.
This was my third time photographing this couple and normally Jordan hates taking pictures but this day he was beaming. I don't think I ever saw him without a grin on his face and he just kept repeating "this is my wife!"
One of my favorite things was that these guests were mostly close friends and family and the way that they interacted with each other you couldn't even tell whose family belonged to who. I have never seen a more accurate description of "today two families become one."
The bride and groom danced to none other than Tim McGraw's "My Best Friend" which has been the theme for these two for years. After 8 long years these two finally got it right.
We got some of the most stunning sunset pictures of this couple in this open field. It was the perfect day for this couple. I'm so thankful you continue to let me capture your extraordinary moments & I wish you the best 2017. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Hughes.
Until next time,
